Wire Wrapping with George Comas
Students will be shown how to do basic wire wrapping techniques.

This course will teach you wire wrapping a bit above the beginner level using sterling silver wire.

The club will furnish cabochons, wire and have tools available.

You are welcome to bring your own finished cabs to wrap, and will be able to take your work home at the culmination of the class.

The class will be limited to 5 students. No children younger than 15 years old as students for this particular class.

Please do feel free to purchase your own equipment prior to the class (highly recommended) if you so wish - below is what you would need and each item is linked onto Amazon. However you can purchase them from another location if you wish. Note: We will have tools available for you to borrow during the classes.

Supply List:
Flat nose pliers
Round nose pliers
Flush Cutter
Nylon pliers
Multi-size Wire Looping Pliers (for bails) ~ optional
Sunshine Polishing Cloths
Sliding Tong Pin Vise

Or get a set!
(Note: Be sure to see what each set offers - not all are the same and some will not have various items that might have)

Wire Wrapping Tools Set
Wire Wrapping Tool Kit
14 piece Advanced Wire Wrapping Kit (does NOT have nylon pliers)

Note: ALL proceeds from this class are donated back to the Sacramento Mineral Society outside of paying for the materials and the instructor's fee. All class proceeds that come to the club will be put towards whatever our current fundraiser project is at the time.
