News › Sept. 11th Educational Meeting - November Show: Gemstone Trees
Summer Hours Now In Effect!
From June 29th to September 30th the SMS lapidary shop will be open from 9am to 2pm on Saturday and Sunday to help beat the heat.

The Educational Meeting will start at 7pm, following the Board Meeting which starts at 6pm! Anyone can come - members AND non-members .... it is a great time to check out our club and see some of the stuff we are doing!!!

Royalee Pierce-Cannon will be demonstrating how to make the wire gemstone trees that are going to be part of the children's activities for our gem show in November!! If you would like to complete one for yourself, there will be a nominal fee of $3 for the supplies.

Gemstone Trees

We would also like volunteers to help make them for the show. More information about that will be given at the meeting.

There will be a Raffle, a Rockhound Auction (members can bring in items to sell as well so you never know what might show up!), a potluck (SMS members, please bring a dish to share with everyone if you can!), and it's lots of fun! Hope to see everyone there!!!
